Big Third Inning Propels SCMS to Win Over Putnam County

SCMS defeated Putnam County 13-1 on Wednesday thanks to seven runs in the third inning. SCMS batters contributing to the big inning included Hudson Reed, Mason Hill, Lucas Langley, Luke Cross, and Nolan Mitchell, who all drove in runs. The game was tied at four with SCMS batting in the bottom of the sixth when Lucas Langley doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs. SCMS scored three runs in the second inning. SCMS Baseball wins Doubleheader

The SCMS baseball team won both games of a double header this past Saturday with every player starting at least one of the two games. The team scored 24 runs to beat GWA 24-11 in the first game. Landon Davis led the way with 5 base hits. Luke Smith, Mason Hill, Lucas Langley and Hudson
