Cole Thacker earns East Scottish Rite Scholarship

Congratulation to SCHS Junior Cole Thacker!  Cole is the recipient of the East Scottish Rite Scholarship of $1,000.  Cole is a member of the Varsity Rifle Team, JROTC, and Raiders.

Last night, Cadet Cole Thacker was awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the East Scottish Rite Association in Covington, GA. Redskin rifle team member selected to compete in the 2020 Junior Olympics

Jackson Davis,  a Junior and Varsity Rifle Team Captain, was selected today to compete in the 60 Standing air rifle event in the 2020 Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the Olympic Training Village. Jackson is the second Social Circle rifle team member to earn an invitation. Congratulation Jackson! GO REDSKINS!

Redskin Rifles defeat McDonough rifle team 1130 to 1068.

Top shooters for the  the Redskins were Caleb Link 288, Megan Townsend 283, and Jackson Davis rounding out third place with a 282.  Megan shot a personal best in Prone scoring a perfect 100 with 10 bullseyes.  Cole Thacker finished with a 277 and Alaina Russell shot a 268. Good job Redskins!
